Sharing some more of the panels here that I created for my graphic novel "Phantasmen", an adaptation of the novel of the same name by writer and friend Kai Meyer. I was given full creative control here for which I am very thankful. It allowed me to carry over some of the aesthetics I love so much from concept art and animation, which led to this unusual look.
One of the challenges with any endeavor towards photorealism is to not lose the sense of motion that is very easily achieved in a sketch. I think it works well here.
